The Triangle Travels Franchise took a short hiatus but we are back with another fun and education filled trip to our nation’s Capital to further seek Records and Information Governance knowledge from our nation’s most historical sights and cities. This TT edition will include accommodations in a historic church rectory and a private tour of the Library of Congress.
When: March 5th– 8th
Transportation: We will once again travel by Amtrak Train from the Raleigh area. However, mode of transportation is left totally up to you: Plane, Train, Automobile. You are welcome to just meet everyone at the house.
Train options: 92 Silver Star leaving Raleigh at 8:54 a.m. arriving at 3:14 p.m. - $52.00 (Lounge and Dining Car, no WiFi)
80 Carolinian leaving Raleigh at 10:25 a.m. arriving at 4:37 p.m. - $52.00 (Lounge and WiFi; no Dining Car)
Bus options: Megabus offers round trip bus tickets at very very low pricing and it tends to take about an hour less time than the
train. This may be an option for someone that does not like the train or does not enjoy long travel.
Accommodations:
